Designs change.
Your spec screens stay current.
SyncScreen turns a link to any Figma screen into a synced copy of that screen. When the original changes, one click brings every copy up to date.
Same-file sync is free and unlimited
Three steps
1. Copy a link
Right-click the screen you want to sync and choose “Copy link to selection”.
2. Paste it into the plugin
SyncScreen creates a card with the screen image, its name, and a link back to the original.
3. Update everything at once
Press “Update all screens” and only the cards whose source changed are replaced.
What it does
Screen lists and specs that stay current
No more retaking and repasting screenshots. The plugin also checks for updates every time you open it.
Sync every page at once
Update the cards on all pages of the file in a single run.
Jump back to the original
Each card carries the screen name and a link, so readers can open the design directly.
Clear broken-reference states
Deleted, inaccessible, and disconnected sources are shown separately. The last image is never removed.
Reference screens in other files (Pro)
Paste screens from a design file into a separate spec file and keep them in sync.
Replace the link
Rebuilt a screen? Keep the card and point it at the new link.

Requirement for Pro (cross-file references)
To reference a screen in another file, the source Figma file must belong to a team on a paid Figma plan (Professional or higher). In our testing, Figma denied access to files in free (Starter) teams, so they could not be referenced. The plan of the destination file does not matter. The connected Figma account must also be able to view the source file. Figma limits how often its API can be used, and depending on the seat type of the account, the number of syncs can be heavily restricted. Same-file syncing works on any plan.
Pro renews automatically until you cancel. The monthly plan is ¥300 (tax included) every month, which comes to ¥3,600 over 12 months. The annual plan is ¥2,000 (tax included) every year. There is no minimum term and no free trial. Subscribe from “Upgrade to Pro” inside the plugin; payment is by credit card via Stripe, charged in Japanese yen. See the Commerce Disclosure for details.
FAQ
- What can I do for free?
- Pasting and syncing screens within the same file is completely free with no limits. You only pay to reference screens that live in a different file.
- I get an error when referencing another file.
- If the source file is in a free (Starter) team, Figma denies access. Move the source file to a team on a paid plan, or check that the connected Figma account can view that file.
- Is my design data stored anywhere?
- Same-file syncing sends nothing outside Figma. For cross-file references, the server stores only what is needed to locate the source (file key, screen ID and name, and similar). Screen images are not stored on the server.
- What happens when I cancel?
- Cancel anytime from “Manage plan” in the plugin. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. After that, cross-file cards stop syncing, but the last synced image remains.
- Does everyone on my team need Pro?
- Only the person who creates cross-file cards needs Pro. While the creator’s Pro plan is active, other members can view and update those cards (updating requires connecting a Figma account).
